Gentle, complete veterinary care for the felines in your family

"I have 3 cats, Sebastian who is 13, Baby who is 7, and Louie who is 6. I have unfortunately have had to make the difficult decision to put them up for adoption. My allergies have worsened over the past several months, even with allergy shots, multiple medications, and tried several other suggestions with the possibility of reducing my symptoms, however all have unsuccessful. I have used all resources of people I know and trust that I hoped could adopt them. There is also the possibility that I may be moving out of state within the next few weeks and I would not be able to take them with me. All 3 are neutered, declawed, and have no problems with using the liter box, but have never been outdoors. They each have great personalities and are extremely loveable and I am not just saying that because they are mine. They are great and personable with people and other animals. I know this with being around my mom and sister's dogs which they enjoy seeing and rubbing up against them. The dogs are more scared of them, but one does like to play with them and they have a lot of fun when they are together. Sebastian is all gray and was rescued at 4 months old. He was the only survivor of the litter and his mother. He loves to be held for hours if you would do it, enjoys playing, and likes when you talk to him. He will beg for most kinds of food, especially homemade rice crispy treats and popcorn and will not leave you alone unless you are willing to share. For some reason celery drives him absolutely crazy, more so than catnip, even if you give him a piece, he will chew on it and throw it up in the air. He likes to paw at you when you walk by and lets you know what he wants. Baby is gray and white striped and I found him under the tractor when he was 3 weeks old. I hand fed him until he could eat on his own and that is how he got his name. He still thinks I am his mom. Everyday when I come home, he runs up and pats at me which means to pick him up. A little more hard headed and stubborn than the others, more so very particular. He has a habit of sucking on his paws even if you are holding him and loves afghans and blankets. He will roll up in them, drag them around the floor, and take them off the back of chair. He tends to like socks to carry around every once in a while too. He doesn't particularly care for people food too much, but does have a liking for pepperoni. Loves to play with you and will have a great time rolling around on the bed, especially after they just came out of the dryer. Louie is black and white that was rescued when he was only 7 weeks old. I call him my little Louie and Buddha boy (because of how he sits sometimes, which is really funny) and is such a character with a very large personality. He is also a good escape artist and has likes to know watch and know what you are doing. He has to sleep with you every night and you will have a paw on your cheek and him looking at you when you wake up in the morning. Doesn't like to be held as much as being right next to you or sitting on your lap a lot of the time. With being the most curious one and having slightly bad habit, he loves to play and be talked to, but has an strong interest in toilet paper and paper that he decides to play with and thinks it is okay to play with. I have had toilet paper torn apart, unrolled, and shredded, but thankful he doesn't like to eat it. I know what brings on his curiosity, he is not bad, just mischievous. He also likes to talk to you so you know he is there and does the funniest things to make you laugh. I hope and pray that although it may be difficult for someone to take all 3, I would like to keep them together if at all possible. They do very well with each other and are dependant on having each other. They play well and sleep together. If anyone would have any questions, I would gladly answer them. -Laura Knauff, (304) 260-9413"
